Host family Eisl
Heribert, who, as a certified mountain and ski guide and chairman of the Ramsau mountain rescue service, knows the surrounding peaks almost as well as the Lindenhof. His extensive know-how is also appreciated by television and Heribert is therefore active as an expert adviser and safety officer for the TV series "Die Bergretter".
Evi is the good soul of the family. She works in the Diakonie workshop in Schladming and enjoys, among other things, the daily car trips with mum and dad.
When Petra has time away from her work at the hotel or as a caring mother, she is out and about in the picturesque natural surroundings of the region.
After completing her apprenticeship as a catering specialist, Patricia was able to gain some experience in renowned tourism companies throughout Austria. Now she runs the hotel together with her partner and in-laws and lovingly looks after Franzi, the youngest in the family.
Johann and Brigitte Walcher built the Lindenhof in the 1980s and eventually handed it over to their daughter Petra. If Gitti isn't enjoying the sun on the hotel bench at Villa Lindenhof, she's probably playing Mahjong on her iPad.
After completing his apprenticeship as an electrical engineer, Franz also decided to pursue tourism. So he now runs the hotel together with his partner and both parents. How could it be otherwise, Franz is also an active member of the Ramsau mountain rescue service.
Lukas studied tourism in Innsbruck and, in addition to his job at the Obertauern Tourism Association, is responsible for marketing the hotel. He spends his free time with Regina, mainly in the mountains of the region. Like father like sons, Lukas is also an active member of the Ramsau mountain rescue service.
Regina also ended up in Ramsau after completing her two master's degrees in sports science and sports management & media. In addition to her professional activity, Regi is currently in the training phase to become a mountain rescuer and will become the first female member of the Ramsau mountain rescue service.

Hiking and biking begin at Lindenhof directly in front of the hotel. Several routes pass right by the house. This makes us the perfect starting point for most tours in Ramsau am Dachstein.
A classic route directly from Hotel Lindenhof to the alpine meadows. Through meadows, fields, and high forests up to above the tree line at the foot of the Dachstein South Face. A beautiful day hike that can be easily done as a circular route. Suitable for strollers and enjoyable for the whole family.
The 6,000 m² bathing lake and sunbathing lawn invite you to relax. Fun for all ages includes the trampoline and diving tower. Adjacent to the leisure park are the new Rittisberg Coaster summer toboggan run, the forest high ropes course with canopy tour, fly line, and the Rittisberg archery course.
You can reach Ramsau village with the famous Protestant church in about a 10-minute walk. It also serves as a perfect photo backdrop.
The Silberkarklamm is a romantic wild water gorge in the heart of the Dachstein Massif. The approximately 35-minute hike leads through magnificent, wild nature, passing alpine plants and animals in the pristine eco-system of the roaring gorge. At the end of the gorge opens up the Silberkar.
Formerly a managed alpine pasture, now a destination for young and old alike. The Silberkar Hut supplies hikers with organic products from its own farm and indulges them with stunning views from the sun terrace.
