Welcome to the Real Petershof – Filming Location of the ZDF Series "Die Bergretter"
You know it from television now you can stay there yourself. Since 2025, Hotel Lindenhof in Ramsau am Dachstein has been a permanent fixture as the "Petershof" in the cult ZDF/ORF series "Die Bergretter". What is Tobias Herbrechter's hotel in the series is, in reality, our 4-star superior hotel, lovingly run by the Eisl family, right in the heart of the Dachstein region.
But our connection to the series is no mere backdrop: host Heribert Eisl has been personally involved as a technical advisor and safety officer on set since the very first season. His sons and daughter-in-law are active members of the Ramsau mountain rescue team. It is this lived alpine passion that gives the series its authenticity and our hotel its special character.
